What It Was
A discovery and strategy project focused on identifying high-impact workflow automation opportunities across a fast-paced creative agency. The goal was to help AV Squad grow without increasing headcount by improving internal efficiency.
What I Did
- Analyzed past discovery interviews and internal documentation
- Mapped current user journeys and pinpointed bottlenecks
- Conducted stakeholder interviews across operations and asset management
- Vetted and recommended a foundational SaaS platform as the automation hub
- Created a centralization and automation strategy
- Advised on change management and rollout
What Came Out of It
- Clear roadmap for centralizing data, orchestrating workflows, and layering automation
- Identified foundational improvements to core agency processes
- Selected a SaaS platform to serve as the base for future automations
What I Learned
Automation is often less about tools and more about timing and trust. Sometimes it's better to meet teams where they are and improve existing processes, even if they're messy, rather than pushing for radical change too early. Change management only works with full alignment.
