The Kia Soul Shuffle Slam was a high-profile digital campaign that invited fans worldwide to submit dance videos performing the shuffle dance to LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem." The website served as the central hub for video submissions, community voting, and social sharing, supporting Kia's youth-focused marketing campaign for the 2012 Soul.
This was a hybrid platform with both Flash components for the dual video voting interface and HTML5 fallback features with standard YouTube player embeds. The site integrated with YouTube and Facebook channels to enable seamless video submissions and social sharing.

Building contest platforms requires careful balance between user experience and technical reliability. The hybrid Flash/HTML5 approach taught me the importance of progressive enhancement and fallback strategies. Working with social media APIs during the early 2010s showed me how platform integration can amplify campaign reach exponentially.
